East Chicago Leaders Support FEC

A broad interfaith group of fourteen local clerics and lay leaders assembled Friday 11 February to state their ongoing support for Foundations of East Chicago and the way the Foundations support the community. The group wants FEC to continue its work guiding the disbursement of casino funds designated to support East Chicago.

Leaders reaffirmed their belief that the current means and distribution of casino funds should be maintained, and is best for the city. They hope to see FEC continue its work at the same level as it has always been funded, and with the same directives from its citizen-run board as it has for the last 14+ years.
