Since 2008 when the Foundations of East Chicago (FEC) initiated the development of Collaborative Networks among 40-plus local agencies and governmental departments, FEC has accelerated our work to help nonprofit organizations in East Chicago to become ever more effective, efficient and true to their mission.
The success of Collaborative Networks is resounding. In January 2011, a new scholarship was launched with Indiana University Northwest (IUN). Through an advance-study program, nonprofit professionals can learn about nonprofit management best practices.
