Make a Grant Request
The Foundations of East Chicago is proud to announce the release of our 2009 – 2010 General Operation Grant Applications. This funding round will offer monetary support to those non-profit organizations that have demonstrated their ability to positively impact East Chicago.
2009 – 2010 General Operation Support Grant
Eligibility requirements are as follows:
- Your organization must be a valid 501 (c)(3) organization or a federally recognized institution that has the same rights as a 501 (c)(3).
- You must either be located in the City of East Chicago, or your organization must service the East Chicago community.
- You must be in good standing with the Foundations of East Chicago.
This funding round will provide general operational dollars to assist organizations with the fulfillment of their mission. The Foundation will consider grant applications which focus on programmatic and or capacity building support initiatives; however, funding priority will be given to those applications which center on General Operations. The Foundation will provide separate funding opportunities for program and capacity building requests later in 2010.
The maximum grant request per organization is $15,000. The Foundation reserves the right to issue grants with lesser amounts.
The timeline for this funding cycle is as follows:
- Application release date: September 1, 2009
- Application due date: October 2, 2009
- Award Announcement: November 12, 2009
