The $32+ million given by Foundations of East Chicago from 1997 through 2010 includes:
- $6,515,000 in Youth Development to cultivate our future leaders
- $3,507,000 in Family Support to nurture the ’soul’ of our community
- $5,756,000 in Education to ensure that hard-working students who want to pursue education can
- $1,630,000 in Public Safety to ensure that citizens are safe, and can support public safety agencies
- $2,070,000 in Health to ensure the good health of our citizens
- $11,031,000 in Community Economic Development to ensure long term success and independence
